Club Tour 2010

9.30am in Congresbury and our motley crew await the Bournemouth coach

Waiting to do battle at Swanmore Gardens BC

Phil places his woods down carefully....but sadly on the wrong rink!

The match gets underway at Swanmore Gardens

Mike bowls up...but few appeared interested!

Charlie in classic pose.......but it is not always that classic!....

The camera never lies Charlie...... as it records your footfault!

We managed to get the whole Tour Group together at Argyll BC...but one of us wasn't looking at the camera!

Apparently Val and Lloyd had to make last minute rink changes! It made no difference...we still lost!

The game gets going at Argyll....But boy was it chilly!

Looks like Argyll are holding shot at this stage....

Oh Dear!...looks like Congresbury dropped a 4 on this end... Skip's fault!

Esme claims two and measures for three....did she get them?

Fred lets one of his famous 'On the jack' bowls go down the rink!

Esme is happy but it looks like Barbara is thinking "where did it all go wrong?"

Jenny and Daphne also look happy as they eye up the opposition!

Waiting for the coach to take us on an epic 4 minute journey back to our hotel!

The Three Stoo...'er ...Sages at the 'Goat and Tricycle' Pub Quiz

Phil seeks the answer at the bottom of a glass of 'Bishops Tiddle' (or something)....he didn't find it!

The Famous Five checked if their ship had come home yet.....It hadn't!

Dick was thrilled that Bournemouth had named some steps after him

Must be something 'really interesting' stage right....wonder what it was?

Royce keeps plugging away....but his audience has lost interest!

Colin is resigned to a long wait as Peter performs in front of the ladies!

Carol masters 'The Short Hole' while Roger hopes she won't tread on his ball!

After a hard round of Crazy Golf they all relax with a cup of 'froffy coffee'

Bowling at Southbourne BC...in the shadow of a Victorian water tower

Jenny steps forward to decide the score at Southbourne.....what was it?

Measuring for shot...but their Lead reckons Congresbury got it this time

Ashcombe's Nancy Urch in classic bowling pose

All bowling over and Charlie does his 'stats' to see who get which award!

We all clapped as Eila gets her 'wrong bias' award from Lloyd

Ashcombe's Dennis Urch forces a smile as he also gets the dreaded 'wrong bias' award!

Eila has the last laugh though as she bags the 'Top Lady' award from a jovial Charlie!

Keeping it in the family Rob bags the 'Top Man' award but realises he will now have to extend their mantlepiece

Malcolm avoided the 'Spoons' this year but got second prize of 'Mens Lowest Score'. He looks pleased he won something!

Carol scored a triple award...a Spoon, Ladies Lowest Score..... and a large slice of cream sponge!

Our handsome coach driver Wayne also got an award 'As Well'!

CAPTION COMPETITION! What are Martyn and Charlie saying to each other...causing Anita to pray for their forgiveness?

President Roger congratulates Charlie on yet another successful tour....and he looks overcome with emotion!

Geoff tells his 'Toilet lock joke' to an interested audience.......

....who listen intently for the punchline........

which comes with the hilarious and predictable result.....Well done Geoff! And thats your lot folks!
