Lawn green bowls is a game for all ages, from junior members to over-80s be they male or female!
Congresbury is a private, long established (1945) and very active bowling club and has a full calendar of events for both Men and Ladies throughout the bowling season (April - September).
We compete in the Clevedon and District League, Deverill League and the Somerset County League and have several members who play for the Somerset County Bowling Association. We also play many friendly games against local teams and welcome mixed touring sides from many parts of the country.
The club also run many social events for members during the year and the clubhouse bar is licensed to sell drinks at very reasonable prices to members and their guests.
The club currently has a number of vacancies and would welcome either experienced players or anyone, of any age, who would be interested to come and try bowling to see if they might like the game. Please contact our Coaches, the Club Secretary or the Chairman.
